Great work as always Franz. Any reasoning and detail in using the Porsche spindle verses using the stock vw link pin spindle with the empi kit that you mentioned before.

I did get to drive this yesterday. It's like a whole different car. Thank you Franz for your expertise. Sway bars and steering damper sound good to me, as I do like to drive this car.

Porsche spindles are beefed up versions of type 1. Almost the same. The difference is the steering arm is thicker, the tie rods end holes are larger diameter, and they have a groove for an O-ring on the bottom.

Dans notch is defiantly a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 . Watching franz pull out of KCW the other day front suspension working smooth then he pulled away and the sound of the smooth long pull was awesome . Nice ride Dan good job franz =D>

The sway bar made a huge difference. The notch strait up gets with the corners now.

Drive it in deep, and feather the rear end around. Like a race car. =D>

Sunroof differences. The late model stuff is narrower on the pivot locations, and the cables/ends are different to accommodate. Late model stuff slides better because of the metal tubes around the corners. Most parts are different between early and late. ](*,)

Fuck yeah!! Sway bars are badass. I put them front and rear on my old Subi super, fucking things help a ton!!!
I'm going to put them on the square front and rear.

Yep! Early vs late T3 sunroofs are a pain in the balls!

I took a pair of late metal tube corners and shortened them to work early style... smooth.
