Alp's Ghia

Postby john jones » Thu Oct 16, 2008 7:15 am

Kevin calls this one "Gravy Train".. Cause it's a creme puff... Don't hate Kevin cause I waited for a nice car...!!!!

This is Garys old Ghia...

This car is amazingly clean... Still planning on making it "rediculous"

John you gotta realize that if Kevin sells something it's either nice and overpriced or cheap and half rotted away. There's not much in between. You gotta watch that skinney little f-cker.

why raise the drive train so much? is it just to do it or are you planning on running some taller tires? it seems to me that the body will hit the ground before the tires do! are you going to run a wing box over the engine? i would and i bet that it will look sick.

speaking of sick ghias, have you checked this one out? it is from australia. maybe make a box like this one.

That ghia is badd ass..

I did a monster tranny raise cause I want it low, no camber, and larger than I normally run tires.. Maybe some big hoosiers.. I plan on having to put some tubs up on top of the fenders.. Gotta be a little more rad than any of my others... but will be stock boring colors...

Talked to Kris yesterday.. he said the motor is going to be a beast and scare the shit out of me... 2387, pauter rods and super flow heads, all good guy parts, injected, he said 15lbs of boost is gonna be fast as hell, but will do 30lbs no problem..
