Don't forget to prep for an 1/8 mile. None of those cars can hold up for a full 1/4.
911 operator: What is your emergency ? Me: Some asshole just pulled out in front of me & totaled my car! 911: Are you injured? Me: No. 911: Is the other driver injured ? Me: Not yet....but you should probably send an ambulance.

My best is 6.62 at 105 in the 1/8th and 10.38 at 128 in the 1/4 on an easy pass. This thing has been a lot of fun for many years for me!

Dam this car gets with it. Turn the boost up and see if you can do 9.99 in the 1/4!!!

I'm looking for a rolling drag car, no motor..cuz I want to do a Subi. Seems cheaper to buy a car than build one.

Maybe Subaru parts could fix it?

That is at 15 lbs. I never turn it up. I have no doubt it would run in the 9's with just a few more pounds. But my logic has always been to keep it moderately low and increase the longevity. I'd say it's working after 8+ years with this engine.

I hope you guys don't get tired of my posts on this car. To say it has been amazing for the last 9+ years is an understatement. We had an ASA race Sunday at the Farm in NC. I had a gig in Savannah GA the night before. Finished there and left at 11:30. Driving home I luckily didn't start falling asleep until 11:35. I struggled all the way home and decided I didn't need to pull the planned all nighter drive to the track. I got inside, stripped down, got in bed and called all the cats in for at least 3 hours of sleep. As soon as Pop Tart and Skittles settled in my phone went off. My friend James texted and said are you ready? I could barely type at this point but somehow tapped out "of course." I got up, dressed, packed a bag and cooler and headed out to his shop. We left at 2:20 am. We drove straight to the track and got there at 6:45. I tried to sleep under my car cover in the front seat for a few minutes. We had to do our street cruise for our class pretty early so I got up for that and we took off. The weather was perfect. The car was just running great. It is running really good right now due to my constant maintenance. I mean I did check the oil in January. When the race starts a little later one of the other cars rips off a 6.31 at like 115. Well I knew he had it won at the point. I recently changed my tires and shock settings so I was taking an easy pass first. It pulled a 6.98 at 102. I was more than pleased. I got back to the pits and the other fast car had a split cylinder so he was out. There are 2 other cars that have made some changes and I knew they'd be the next ones to beat. Matt's 55 oval is making 451 HP to the wheels now so he was going to be tough. Later in the day he and I were in the semi finals. I had been ragging him in the pits on when to leave on a pro tree. I told him to wait until I stick my arm out of the window to leave. I did end up treeing him just a little. At the very end of the track he is pulling on me and I knew he was going to pass me. But at the last 5 feet he dropped back and my win light came on. I got back to the pits and asked if he had a problem and he said he shifted into 4th and probably shouldn't have. I clicked off a 6.88 and he ran a 6.70. My reaction time gave me the win. In the finals I had my friend Anthony in a NA car. He beat a fast twin turbo Ghia that red lighted on a pro tree! How? I took him in the finals for the win! I couldn't believe that I made it all the way with no sleep. I then loaded up and drove 4+ hours back home on straight adrenaline and caffeine. Thanks again John for building the car 10 years ago. It has been a pleasure owning and refining it since I got it!

Hopefully y'all can see this video.
