Re: ultimate vanagon

Well, it's been running like this for years, so it has to be something simple..

I just want to get it running again, because we have this great vacation planned.

And i'm in a big hurry.
And I don't have any money..

You can hook me up, right, Bro?

Nice.. =P~

Thin Spots Show Thy Selves!!!

Funny how blasting can 'stress-relieve' panels like that sometimes..

Love how, now that the green is gone,
You can't even tell where the old panels actually were..!

Re: The Canadian Royal Mail bus! *For Sale*

Dunno much about selling VWs, as I tend to keep my own crap, but, I have sold a thing or two before.. Seems to me that you should hold out for your right price. Your guy is out there. Couple of reasons: It WAS an actual Royal Mail postal bus, right? Possibly the only one on earth. Certainly the nice...

Re: 54 Camping Box

That's some sweet work right there with the lower front door hinge.

Taking the time to bead-roll that strengthening rib into the patch panel;
Even though it will be completely hidden by the door skin..

1% of shops would ever take it to that level.

Re: 66 deluxe camper

That's killer that Wren came and hooked you up with some sanding. I was thinking, just before I saw that, how fun that would be to do. Wish i lived there... Would for sure love to come and block out some doors, just in exchange for being able to pick up a few tips.. I lived in CO from birth until li...

Re: Dans Boosted Oval Rag

That whole 3rd brake light thing is a tough nut to crack for sure! Worthwhile, IMHO, if you are actually going to drive the thing much. (I'm not talking just going to the local show twice a year) Any of us who hammer a lot of miles will know how used to that 3rd light people have become. They came o...

Re: Dans Boosted Oval Rag

Lovely..

Maybe a good argument in favor of base/clear - That it lays flatter/dries with less texture?

Makes it so places you won't/can't cut/buff are flatter already?

Like in the trunk and wheel-wells? :-k :-k

http://i1075.photobucket.com/albums/w433/sisfootdan/Left.jpg MMMmmmmm... Love me a K model. I'm still tooled up to work on iron Sportys and Ks. Did just those for a living in a past life; hit me up. Haven't seen one of those Electric Frank regulators in years! What are your plans for it?
