Re: Parkway Projects "fix Everything"!!!

That's a really neat setup. Is it run by a megasquirt? I'm no turbo expert, but isn't the entire throttle body supposed to be encased to prevent pressure loss through the throttle body shafts? I've been contemplating a waterboxer for my split with a small turbo... CB. Same ECU as on Dan's Oval Rag....

Re: Toms 56 vert

1914cc is a 1600cc with the stock (85.5mm) piston bore opened up to 94mm. It's pretty much like assembling a stock engine other than a little machine work on the case and heads. 1904 is a small stroker crank with stock pistons. No or very little machine work/clearencing requied. If you want to do w...

Re: Toms 56 vert

Harder to build though. Cylinder shims, deck measuring, H beam rods, wider engine, more labor to fit tin, type iv oil cooler, fan velocity ring, ect. The cost between new 1914cc and 2332cc long block isn't much. Less than $1k. Come on man. B pistons and you're all good. Not even any wider! No need ...

Did you see Madson's post from this weekend? So much boost he blew an exhaust pipe out. Not a coupler. The pipe!

Have you considered using a 74 crank? I think they are the same price and would make those engines torque monsters!

Re: Scott's 1965 Ghia Project

How does this thing do without an intercooler? Plans to add one? I dig the simplistic look of this motor and the guys that run a simple pipe from the turbo to a T intake, but always wonder how high their IAT's are. If you don't have a sensor on there you don't know. That's my story! I'm sure an int...
