Re: Dans Boosted Oval Rag

Your right looks like wheel strap damage to me. Someone got lazy and didn't clear that area before moving bug. They probably moved that vw around a few times before it got to its final destination. Sad very sad but fixable . Congrats on your long awaited ride ENJOY.....

Great job on this oval been down a long slow road. I agree black couplers and if possible sync link those carbs that would really clean it up.

Of course if you have not rebuilt with a quality transmission and shifter bushing forget having decent shifts .That's a battle you will never win.

Does your front end have a set of drop spindles and disk brahe kit yet. If not then Some kits will kick it back out away from inner fender .

Diesel air heater 6 kW/21,000 BTU/hr 12volt same as to Webasto,Airtronic,Ebers /with 1 gal tank best bang for your buck. Fitting in some stock locations and oh yea it's not gasoline or hard to find and fill small and unsighty propane tanks.

Re: Parkway Projects "fix Everything"!!!

True that some gauges have no reserve. 1/8 of a tank could leave ya empty. When fuel gauges are installed a good quantity test is in order prior to permanently installing fuel tank and motor. (Oh yea can be very time consuming. ...) Aftermarket Sender's well you do the math even more so check check ...
