Hoping to get some time on this bus this weekend. I don't think anyone has made plans for me yet.

Re: 54 Camping Box

Alodine corrosion prevention coating. Jim showed me this stuff forever ago. The trick is to acid etch the aluminum, then get the casting/alodine hot so that the metal will soaks it up. I need to order some bearing and syncros while the hardware is out for plating. http://www.kustomcoachwerks.com/gal...

Re: 66 deluxe camper

170 cu/yards this time. About 17 truck loads. My neighbor and I did some grading work between our properties.

Ha, 4 days. Plan all you want, moving and packing dirt is seriously hard work. It'll take its own time. Make sure you get good dirt. Clay.

Re: 54 Camping Box

Grinding the bellhousing for a 12 volt flywheel. This is getting a 1914cc dual carb engine. Along with a vintage correct 36er later. The transaxle is original and numbers matching. We definitely have to keep it with the bus. http://www.kustomcoachwerks.com/gallery3/var/albums/Type-2/KBs-54-BD-Campin...

Re: KCW Randomness

Does anybody remember the red wagon VW built on a sand rail chassis?

This is on ebay for $450 right now.

Re: Zoey's 58 euro ragtop

Your car is 100% euro because it has semaphores. If it had overrider bumpers and/or peanut turnsignals, they were added by the dealer within a year or two. To make it look like the american spec cars.

Car like yours were probably brought back by military personal or tourist.

Re: Lowlight jigsaw puzzle

Porsche 356 style.

I agree that they are probably not the best for hi-po. Vintage correct look, simple and effective.
