Re: Toms/JJ's/Will's 2 fold

My super diff in the irs with a subi behind it is proving reliable so far. Trip to Havasu this year and almost daily driving haven't had an issue. Swing axles aren't a good match.

^^^If you got a ride in one, it was likely a Double Eagle with full four cylinder engine. The LEXL is a bigger single seat ultra light for us big guys, and yes you are correct it is the LEXL I'll be building. Wink

Nope! Here is two designers that built around a VW engine. First is a Stewart Headwind, second is the Volksplane. http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj226/plane_ben/A-plane/headwind01_zpsxs2vpc4f.gif http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj226/plane_ben/A-plane/volksplane_zpsuq6qcnlv.jpg

Re: Stretched Highroof Camper

Just a nice 2.5 liter. It will be fine. With all the belly space, you could do two large radiators. Temp would never get above 160. \:D/

Can't remember where we posted all the VW TDI buy back discussion, but mine is finally gone. ](*,) ](*,) Overall, loved the car and the TDI, but despise what VW did to the industry and destroying the trust of folks who bought their product. I'll clear about $11,000.00 and have no car payment when th...

Motorcycles and VWs have been a life time interest. But as a hobby mostly (slight stint as a motorcycle mechanic and parts cou...
