Re: Kelly park '17 rollcall!!!

Well, didn't make it to Kelley Park. Got about half way there and started hearing unhappy noises. Pulled off the road at the top of the pass and engine was running rough and would flicker the oil pressure light. It runs, but will die at idle. Gotta figure out what causes a fuel injected motor to do ...

Re: 1965 Original Paint Beetle Wanted

I just can't do it! My first car was a Savannah Beige 67, I've never liked beige. Your car is definitely the best Panama Beige car out there. See I am the opposite. I dig the beige's. For some reason I dig the subtle colors as it makes the cars look more simple. It depends on the stance and wheels ...

Re: 1965 Original Paint Beetle Wanted

Any color except Panama Beige. Hater. Wink Naw. I'm just messing with you. I saw your ad earlier on samba. I am in the same boat as you. It is the ugliest of the 65 colors, but when all patinad out and losing a big of the yellow/green tinge, its not terrible. But there is a reason why you never see...

Re: Bret's 65 #2 Build Thread

Had to add a quick story as well. Went to pick up the car last night with my parents (I was driving the car back so had to get out there), and being that my bugs tail lights are not currently working, they wanted to follow me so that I didnt get rear ended. They were in my Honda. This motor scoots. ...

Re: Bret's 65 #2 Build Thread

Interior is done! Came out lighter than I anticipated, but Larry did a good job. I dig the lightness of the seats as it makes the inside look a little larger, but the contrast from the beige door to the door panel isn't really there, but the quality is top notch. What do you guys think? http://i394....

Is that a Setrab oil cooler? How do you like it?

I have been playing around with an idea in my head to use one of those as a radiator.....

Sounds like you need a back seat passenger with an iPhone. I might have access to a GoPro too..

This thing scoots. Once Andy gets that shifter figured out, and can get all gears effortlessly.....gonna be even quicker.

Re: JJ's 55 Pamper

With these basically having three gears inside them....I know that busses running RGB's have a flipped ring & pinion so that the guts spin backwards (if knowledge serves me right), but if you have three gears.....you would just have the center section setup like a normal non-RGB setup, correct? ...

Im curious to see what Franz has in store in regards to those rims. Leave them all chromed or are you gonna do up the centers a different color similar to Kelly's barndoor? Matte centers and polished lip?

Re: Pat/Dan's deluxe 9 seat bay

Thats a good looking tiptop. I have never been a fan of the crank windows on the sides. I always said if I were to have a bay camper, I would swap them out for the later slide middle windows from the late bays. They at least look like a glass window that matches the rest compared to having two windo...
