I've been driving the Bug around on short errands for a week or so with no issues other than I have no defrost. I have heat to my feet but not up to the windshield. I've been driving the he'll out of the bug wit no issues. I added these door decals just for the hell of it. I got a few wrinkles in the decal I tried to iron out with no success. I bet nobody can guess what year the bug is by the pic. http://images.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/1612422.jpg

I received a 5" beam in the mail the other day that I ordered from a guy in Arkansas. His business is called fabshop104. Now if I can only find time to install it!

Yes it will kick it back out 1/2" on each side. I'm going to run some 15x5.5 Brm''s up front. I haven't updated it in a while but here is my build.
