in reply to: 57 PGSG 'MJ Ball' #78573Hello KCW forum…….thought I would post a little update on the MJBall bus. The old-boy took one in the chops last year at Crandon by hitting a turkey while cruising to the event. I decided to rip off the old nose and put a new one on. It was new for me….but I got it figured out. All back on the road again.
in reply to: KCW randomness #72857I was hoping to see a complete throw-back KCW dizzle video – vintage 2023 tho.
in reply to: Tom’s Sea Blue Cal look Sunroof 66 #72612Car looks awesome. Cool seeing a bug-build in the shop…….brings back good memories. Congrats, Tom.
in reply to: JJ’s Class 11 Oval #68901yep. You could tell from the stands that 1131 had the speed and power to win. on the start and the back straight away….you always made time on the group. Cornering seemed to be really tight once the front-end grabbed…,,,especially on the tight corners like the finish line corner and the corner where you flipped. it almost look like you were fighting to high-side it on those corners while most of the cars could dig-in and floor it. it was fun watching tho. The crowd loved the Class 11 cars. Everyone seemed to pick out a favorite color or something and routed for them the whole way. John, the crowd was really digging your car…….an oval race car……people noticed. Can’t wait for next year.
in reply to: KCW randomness #68697Neighbor had a backyard shin-dig. The tent rental place flaked-out so we converted my camper to the bar. It was a hit. People are now calling me around Madison to hire/rent the mobile VW bar…..its crazy.
in reply to: Crandon Red Bull Off-Road World Championship #68592I’d love to help………..but I am only gonna be there Friday night unfortunately. Most likely will have 14 beers and a couple bourbons running through my system by race time.
in reply to: Crandon Red Bull Off-Road World Championship #68443I plan on stopping by for Friday Night Thunder and the beer/band after. Looking forward to seeing KCW represent (and all the other cool bugs).
in reply to: Crandon Red Bull Off-Road World Championship #67816I am trying to talk my buddy into hauling up a big smoker and making a bunch of smoked pork butt and a couple 1/2 barrels for the German Garage!!!! Trying to figure out a plan of the weekend if I can free up my work schedule………
in reply to: Crandon Red Bull Off-Road World Championship #67568let me know if you guys need anything locally. Crandon is 2-1/2 hours from home. Plus, if you are roadtripping, you will pass within a couple miles of my place in Madison. I could pre-load a trailer for you guys to hook onto if you need. Jacks, welder, generator, coolers, etc……let me know. Good luck this year. You guys could stay at my cottage if you wanted (In Madison) on your way through if you needed a place to stay on the way. Give it some thought and let me know………..if you are all set, no biggy. Or some of y0u could fly to madison and just grab my car and trailer from there.
in reply to: Crandon Red Bull Off-Road World Championship #59258I can’t believe you guys were in my back yard!!!! You guys probably road-tripped I-80 across and then shot northward. Probably passed my house within 2 miles or so. I unfortunately was in Canada at the time……but if you boys head back next year. I got beer and steak dinner ready for the whole crew and all Class 11 folks in Madison.
I thought about you most the road trip… and everytime I saw a madison sign.. but since you haven’t posted in like 2 years…. I didn’t hit you up….
I was actually thinking next year that I can help out by delivering some gear needed locally. I have access to shit that may be easier to throw in a trailer and drive a couple hours rather than trailer from Colorado. Generators, welder, tools, air compressors, barbeque grills, barrels of beer, UTV, golf cart etc……easy. Hit me up. I may not post much….but I am still around.

in reply to: JJ’s Class 11 Oval #52217JJ. Is ur back cool to race? I spent one night just on Tabaguache and it sure seems pretty crazy. Won’t racing hurt your new back? Just curious. Happy new year.
in reply to: JJ's projects #47636Sounds like you are bouncing back, John. Great. It will be nice for you to get home and sleep in your own bed. Take care.
