    Thanks Jdawg!

Johnny….best guess is 70 at the flywheel.  Shin’s 1397 made 67-68….mine is nearly identical but has larger valves and higher compression, I’d have to think that adds to it.

No real reason to share, other than it’s sunny and 50 degrees this morning, so here’s what’s getting me to work today.

Nice photos!  I bet Jesse is grinning ear-to-ear…that’s a great maiden voyage in his split bus.

Ugh…trying to post images of the T34 from the KCW gallery….no luck.  Anyway, lots of the front wheel and tire shots are still there.

Was this one damaged in Kelly’s garage fire?

I used the Belmetric line linked below on my last change.  Ethanol resistant, braided, slightly thicker than lines from the VW parts houses.  Been really happy with it so far.

Tried to add a photo but when I do the post just disappears.

The wait for the floor mat set will be worth it.  The guy making them has gone above and beyond with the investment of his time and money to reproduce them.  He’s announced that once he runs through this last batch of material he’ll no longer be able to make them, so future Ghia resto’s will be back to carpet kits.

You might be too far into tear down now to check, but were heads still holding the spec’d torque?
