R/C cars and trucks are an expensive endeavor.  I keep looking at them for a distraction from building planes, but I’m like John; to much of a tight ass to spend the money. Rather put it towards airplanes and my motorcycles.

I was bee-lining home to Tucson from Ely yesterday, and happened to notice an early lowered VW bay with a high top, being trailered. It was at a gas station in Ash Springs, NV. I made a quick stop to check it out. Didn’t catch the guy’s name, but he said he was trailering it from Somewhere in Idaho to Vegas, to convoy with some friends to Havasu. He said he didn’t want to drive in all the snow and high passes in a lowered, low heat vehicle. 🙂 It was painted a sand biege color.
