Not a whole lot of interesting stuff to report from this weekend. I disassembled the front axle down to the beam, blasted those parts and some other stuff, and started on modifying my beam. Gonna order some adjusters and get back to it when they show up.

 

In the meantime I think I’m gonna start wiring and maybe get my tranny ready to send to Eddy for some “high speed” tractor love… ?

Got my transmission all torn down and the reduction boxes apart so it’s ready to send to Painter’s. Probably a good thing I’m sending it out because the fulcrums look pretty beat, and I’d rather not feel like an obstacle on the highway… ??

 

Took the old rusted hardware out and started sanding on my poptop too. Going to get it in resin, repair anything that needs attention, and spray it in poly!

Got my pop top all painted and the canvas installed with Crazy Doug’s help. Been working on my adjustable beam too, but had my progress slowed down when I was buffing the chrome taillight rings.  Got 7 stitches in my forehead and messed up my eye a bit. I’m alright, just bummed that its gonna be tougher to work these next few days.
