$40k for a bus that’s stupid..what the fuck makes it worth $40k? Not a motha fucking thing…just you and some other dumbass thinks it’s worth it… $1500 new, $40k now used..you can’t do anything with that pile, but drive 43 mph and worry about every other dickface on the street…vw prices are a joke.

U could subi convert it, make it do 90mph and drive it like a modern car and reduce its value by 10k. ?

I’ll go back to my subaru late model corner now..

Its OK Andy. You could swap a Subaru into to make it worth $20k? Its only OG once, and collectors want authenticity. I see the value.

There are only a certain number of buses in this world. Its a privilege to own one these days.

I chalk it up to the scene. When we got into this stuff 2o years ago, there were only half the number of people that could be called die- hard enthusiasts. Even then, everyone wanted beetles and ghias…buses were weird and dorky.

I’m glad I got all the buses I’ll ever need. I have no plans to buy another.

Funny shit Andy, but yeah that’s pretty much the VW world for the most part.  I generally like to keep myself a respectable distance.

    I like your Subi Swaps….

I don’t get it. I put my buses out for sale at pretty reasonable prices and they take  (took) forever to sell.   Then I see piles of crap for sale from three to ten times what I was asking and they get snapped up.  Do I just need to ask stupid high prices rather than fair ones?

Meh….it’ll sell at that price, or it won’t.  It’s an early OG paint bus, which is what Curbo asked for leads on.  Chill.

14K for a rust pile? I’d be more comfortable buying the one at the top of the page. Well, maybe not this page, the one for 40K. 🙂

I'm at the age where "fuck off", "fuck you", and "fuck it" answer most questions.

I like the og paint velvet/pearl 67 slider in boulder. Kind of pricey…but its not a plain-jane.

I agree Franz! I know Curbo is looking for earlier stuff but the slider is pretty unique…

I’m not far from it if someone wants it inspected
