    Just ordered $650 worth of tubing, bends, boots, clamps, and a muffler. I made some technical drawings for flanges to accommodate our custom manifold. Feels good to be making progress.

    This manifold we’re replacing with a simple pipe. Boxeer’s standalone is a simplified system without EGR or PDF. It has two electrically operated throttles that are no longer functioning with the removal of the emissions stuff.

    The tubes and boots for the intake arrived yesterday. Check out those “intercooler tubes”. The muffler is stainless 2.5″ Magnaflow 3 chamber xl….offered as a performance part for chevy duramax diesel truck.

    Pat got a custom hose made for the Subaru power steering pump to vanagon. The picture kind of sucks, but you can see the pump is mounted backwards and acts as the tensioner, custom mount made by boxeer.

    Did some heli-arc welding on the thermostat housing/flange. This is much better than a rubber hose that can kink or get damaged. We had the intake flanges cut at a local water-jet shop. Looking forward to welding up next week.

    Pat got the billet sump installed. I made a couple more parts. Excited and frustrated. A lot of little things to this. Greg Blachon – Boxeer did not explain very well that this was going to be a re-engineer everything type of deal. I mean, the engine has been stripped to a long block and every fitting/connection/wire modified. I hope we can help others with the info provided here.
