Yeah I had some fucked up night shift work for a local factory to do, they only run at night to save power..small town issues.
I got some subi swaps leaving this weekend, 3 of them!!! Then more coming. I think 4 split buses, more bays, more type 3’s, and some beetles!! 😀😀😀😀
Also got some more parts for my subi swap super of my own.. that might require its own build thread!!

only service work needed is 4qts oil and he’s done with service! No valve adjustments, no expensive carb rebuilds, or finding the best junk distributor to rebuild. Brah!!!!!😀😘😘❤️❤️❤️
I look forward to your post pat!! Ball buster!⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨

What happens when a Subaru starts acting up on a road trip? Do you have swap 10 different electro-plastic components? Hoping one of them magically fixes the problem?
I can fix my carbs and distributor with bubble gum and duct tape….while your busy digging out laptop to diagnose a chaffed wire.
…which gets me into the reliability debate again. The subaru engine may be longer lasting or whatever. But the reliability is only as good as the install/swap. Cables, wires, and hoses rattle loose and wear the same regardless of the engine manufacture…subaru just has a lot more of them.
it’s 4 injectors and a coil.like ever other modern car in the world.
I know you’ll come around, JJ has to first then everyone will follow.. just like slammed, lifted, Baja, next up subis!

Never. I like VWs because of the engine.
Franz subi has a fuel line and a vacuum port. 😎

Don’t all these swap motors have at least 100,000+ miles on them??
Junk yards will start charging more when they catch onto the demand.
How much is a full subi rebuild? Or reman motor?
I’ve given up on junkyard engines, buy the whole car wrecked for $500 bucks off craigslist. Anywhere from 50k to 200k I’ve used.
Ive done a total rebuild on 1 of my own. Pistons, bearings, gaskets, $600. I haven’t done a set of heads yet, but those can be bought for $300 each complete I believe.
Ive been shipped to use 2 reman motors but both were build by a builder out of Colorado and both had issues. Ended up using a Craigslist donor.
This debate is like Hillary vs Trump, no winner just sides. Just like showing various swaps I’ve worked on.

There was a winner and we all know who’s side the subi drivers are on. Hahahahahahahahahaha 😜😁
