Got Rusty’s rig on lift and opened the decklid to this. I think I’ll push it back outside and wash it.

Jesse’s uber expensive german brake parts arrived from WW, I cleaned and coated them with black epoxy. Ready for assembly tomorrow.

My spa day at KCW included, NEW FUEL LINES (do this folks, don’t wait) beak adjustment, lube job, a fresh new super awesome 009 distributer, fixed an air leak, valve job and carb adjustment… now my bus is running better than ever! But the best part was pushing my brothers bus out of the clean shop and pulling mine in! lol As always I cant thank Franz and KCW enough for the hospitality and hard work. They take the time that is needed and just do a damn good job for everyone who comes in.

Uh, Somebody is Me!!!!!!! I pulled my engine in the parking lot at Doug’s Bugs with a bad clutch, fork, arm etc……..Replaced everything by myself with my crappy travel tool kit and back together again!  Surprised it was good for a year!! Glad to have KCW to sort out my Bullshit!!!!!

The flywheel was glazed. See those two blue/black spots. Resurfaced.

Then I noticed the throw-out bearing was off-center because the set screw on the back was loose.

Whats up with that fancy wire tie clip hanger? You got a new throw-out bearing because the old one was getting loose/noisy. Clevis pin on the pedal was dry and worn.  Bowden tube was kinked at the end and had too many spacers. Clutch pressure plate was China. I installed a HD sach/brazil.
