    Need to bring the my Mango down for a tune up. Got a stumble under load, it’s not points because it don’t have any. Maybe picked up some junk in the carbs. I know Franz  loves to work on delortos.

    So here is the pan that KCW completed a few months back. Everything rebuilt or replace. I have the rust repair completed and started reassembling the car, I got the car in pieces. The car in is mostly original paint, with the exceptions of the right front fender left rear fender and the NOS right rear fender. I am finally finishing up the motor, my stroker 36. It is a 1588cc, 83×72. Now i just have to wire it and finish some odds and ends. Hope to have it running by the spring.

    Dan said that he thought maybe there was some dirt in his carbs. Haha. I had to wash it before I could take anything apart. Torqued heads and adjusted valves so far. Carb monkey’ing today. Love me some dumbortos!

    Ther’ “might” be a little dirt in those carbs. 😆

    I did that little mountain trip around Durango in August.  Then the bus sat for a few months without being driven until now. Guess I should wash it now and then. I don’t deserve a VW. Perhaps I should get a Subaru.

    Thanks guys!  Yeah I cant wait to get it up and running myself.  I would like to go on some VW cruises with yall, but dont see it happening til next year.  Was just out in the desert last weekend riding bike, I gotta start getting ready for the holiday shit show starting this weekend.  Have fun!

    Umm I am going to Belize in January. 😳 😀 😀 I dont want to pass up any good time hanging out on the beach with my wife, if I can get it. 😉 But I would like to go to that show some time.
