Good luck! Hope it goes back from apart quickly!
If you don’t want an external cooler/fan do you think a sump like the one in the BBOE would help avoid this?RustabusParticipantJune 8, 2018 at 9:43 pmPost count: 720
Got word that things are moving forward!!!!!!!! Hope to see Team Jones tomorrow for dinner!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂ColeBParticipantJune 8, 2018 at 10:28 pmPost count: 490
That sump on the bboe keeps it so cool. I’ve driven that thing for hours when it’s hot and it has never felt overly hot. Pretty impressed with that motor/setup. It also has a bigger oil cooler on it and a different fan. JJ told me what it was but I can’t remember the name. It helps add more airflow if I’m not mistaken.CorporateKeymasterJune 9, 2018 at 8:45 amPost count: 207
Team Jones back on the road!!!!!!!!! The backyard, dirt motor rebuild went as smoothly as possible, all things considered!!!! Big thanks to Painter’s for getting everything shipped to us overnight!!!!!! John and his high school buddy and father were a HUGE help!!! Can’t thank their family enough for allowing us to take over their lives for a few days!!!! We should be at Rusty’s tonight!!!!????????????????

I think he’s got a larger type IV oil cooler and fuel injection shroud with the Venturi ring on the BBOE.BBWBParticipantJune 10, 2018 at 7:20 pmPost count: 459

Did the weary traveler’s make it home yet?
Yes sir we made it home!!!! Had to drive a little out of the way to get home.. there were wild fires North of Durango… up by bubba!!! I hope all is well for those guys in that area…
What an AWESOME trip I had!!! 2 1/2 weeks of nothing but cruising around in my bus with my best friend and my dogs!!!! 😎 And we stopped at A LOT of awesome friends places!!! we really didn’t do much… we relaxed, hung out, and visited…. For me, this trip was about seeing Friends…. I want to tell all of you I really appreciate your hospitality!!!!! Your Generosity, and your Kindness…
Except for the top end rebuild… this was a cheap trip… we were able to stay with great people, and they usually wanted to feed us.. 😎 again… Thanks to all… Gretchen and I had a wonderful time… I can not believe I was able to find my old high school best friend and then his parents in Prescott.. I can not believe how much I missed those people…. It had been 30 years since I had seen his parents.. They took us in like we were their own… 😎
June 2018 is now Officially 17 years of Business for me… 😎John JonesKeymasterJune 11, 2018 at 7:26 amPost count: 2704
