How much bodywork does a race car even need? They’re always held together with zipties and bailing wire anyway, right?ColeBParticipantFebruary 20, 2018 at 8:34 pmPost count: 299

Back when I was racing a lot, an old girlfriend, who worked in a T-shirt printing shop in Daytona, would print up “attitude” T-shirts for me. One of my favorites was …Second place means you’r the first loser. Next in line was …It doesn’t matter if you win or lose – until you lose.FranzKeymasterFebruary 21, 2018 at 8:38 amPost count: 832
Found this simple layout that may be good to modify for graphic design on our car.FranzKeymasterFebruary 21, 2018 at 8:42 amPost count: 832
Also thinking about body work. The 235/75 tires rub the fenders slightly. Class 11 rules say that rolling the fenders is acceptable.
The Perry’s car looks to be a little more than rolled fender edges? If this passes tech, then we need to clearance ours the same.ColeBParticipantFebruary 21, 2018 at 9:54 amPost count: 299
Does that old Baja guy have any tips for fenders?John JonesKeymasterFebruary 21, 2018 at 10:28 amPost count: 2022

I about burned them off while welding this weekend… Got an ember straight through the pants and underwear. Now they can handle anything. Bring on a little shake!!!!! and a little bit off Bake!!!FranzKeymasterFebruary 21, 2018 at 1:13 pmPost count: 832
If you smell a delicious, crispy smell after the race, it’s not your tailpipe. It’s just a little of Shake…and Bake!
