Class 11 parts are here. Two identical engine cases. Same deck. Four OG heads, all the same valves/springs/retainers and the same combustion chamber CC. Two standard direct drilled cranks, with 8 dowel flywwheels. The idea is that we’ll have a back-up engine, and if there is a problem with the back-up, we’ll be able to swap parts (i.e. head) to keep going without having to figure out deck or rocker geometry. Quick change.

Welded diff so that both rear tires are spinning all the time. Good for digging through the silt or on obstacles where one of the rear tires may not have traction.

Also thinking about getting across the border with two fully loaded trucks and trailers. I know that there are people that can help with documents and insurance stuff.

I actually have experience with this.  We’ll be fine as long as we have current registrations or titles for everything.  Sara will get us insurance with Discover Baja before we head down and get us set up with our tourist visas.

Looking good! I would love to help with the engines. But ya, I’ve got a lot to do on my bus so I can get it out of the compound. Ill help with the baja stuff with any time I have. Im going to try and get in late friday night so I can get up early saturday and get to work!

No no, not this weekend. We still have to get a bunch of little parts to get before we can build them. Blaine Beacher is going to help dial-in some trick stuff on our engines. I’m looking forward to learning something new.

You know that Redbull colors are blue and silver with a little red and yellow…which happen to correspond with our dove blue paint job and Colorado state flag colors.

I don’t think they have a class 11 sponsor yet either….
