Yeah, those are they guys that we’re going to beat. 😆 Project Baja from Co Springs? They got VW to sponsor them. Pretty cool. Painter’s does their mechanicals too.

Those guys in the mag are friends of mine! Nick lived at my house for a few years. They asked me to head down last year and I couldn’t make it. They finished the race but not with in the qualified time.

We had a serious talk about prepping for the race, And decided not to do the San Felipe race in April.

The new plan is to race the 50th anniversary Baja 500 in June. Its a loop race in Ensenada. I feel like we’ll be better prepared and have a better race by giving ourselves more time. Plus, it sounds better to say “we won the baja 500”. 😉

The race is on June 2nd, we’ll probably arrive a week early on the 27th or so to do pre-running notes and planning.

KB mentioned renting a house for the week.
