Seam sealing and Masking takes way too long! We had a leisurely night of bullshitting, beer drinking and making sure everything was minty…..commercial grey tonight after a quick sealer coat over the Shultz splatter.
Nice work guys. Love the single cab
Commercial grey came out killer! Got cargo area all prepped and ready for spraying tonight as well
Killed the cargo area lastnight Fuckya!
Been playing with this little project as well……brass bushing/shifter base to replace the early spring steel setup, just gotta notch for ebrake cables…goes along with the derlin bushing inserts I made for the top hats ? hope my plan works haha
Man, that looks great!
Damn Josh….you’re a beast on the mill and lathe.
I like the fade in on the bulkhead, saving a little patina.
Not a fan of the bumpy rocker Schultz stuff but it does protect the underside and hide a lot.
Nice shifter bushing. Don’t you have better things to do?
damn looks great, that thing is ready for another 60 years
Better things? Haha ya always but it all gotta come together sooner or later right? Haha
this last week was great for my kombi, I pushed hard and was at the shop pretty much every night…Friday was the cherry on top, exterior got epoxied, 3 coats of high build sanded…ZERO BODY FILLER ANYWHERE ON THIS BUS!! Coat of sealer and some glorious dove blue fluffed in????
I’m so glad I have got it over this hurdle, feels like such a huge accomplishment!!!! everyone is loving it…thanks for all the props??
I’ll probably have to hang the doors and lid tonight?
Dang!
Bolt the seats, beam, and reduction boxes back in. Done. 😆
Damn that is awesome JB!!!!! That camping trip we have been talking about it getting closer and closer!!!!
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
