Still removing clods of media, probly will for a while 🙁
Got most of my pinholes done and some clean up blasting with my little pot. Started raining so I pulled it in and started mud 🙂
good stuff Jeff
glad to hear about the rain too…
Looking good Jeff.
We used a dustless blaster with the same setup a few months ago.
Cool machine, but like you said it wasn’t as dustless as they claim, and much harder to clean the project.
… Most of 2 days removing blast media… About ready to seal up the underside! But my mail order epoxy primer order came all wrong, and 1 can was bashed and leaking. Even with the insane hazardous material shipping costs paint stuff is cheaper on line than around here.
painting the bottom sucks…… 😎 Nice dolly.. 😎 I think that has become a somewhat universal design eh??
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
Painted my first part! Put some L31 from a previous project on the heater log so I could weld it in, left over epoxy on the underside of the floor where the heat tube goes back in, it’s black cause it got epoxied last week with the pedals and e brake handle and stuff. All sealed up where you can’t spray now.
Universal design John? I just copied you 🙂
Epoxy primer, seam sealer, and Rustoleum Grey on the bottom! Yeah, Rustoleum thru a gun. Nice thick coat. When it finally dries it makes a nice finish for stuff that don’t see too much sun.
This bus is going to show a few scars….
Wait a second!!!!!! This is your new chicken coop?????!!?!?!?! 🙂
Not mine, but I’d have no problem giving the girls a fastback. Not a square, not a notch, fasty no problem!
…Bubba’s got a fastback… You need me to store that one for you Bub? 🙂
Good use for a fasty.. about the only use.
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
Nothing wrong with showing some scars… if anyone says otherwise while they’re looking up under your bus you can always kick em in the head while they’re down there 😉
Sanding filler now, last minute metal work on the shell. got some epoxy and grey on the cargo area, L31 in the cab while it was on it’s side. I’ll need to do another coat now that it’s right side up but it’s good to see a little color!
