Doug’s here working on front seats today. Hoping vinyl for the rest of the interior arrives today.

Franz did a break in run just a bit ago. Dropping the dirty oil out now. 

I picked up some alum. stock to trim out cabinet edges and floor threshold. Ready to go in as soon as I get back from the hardware store.

Put all the cabinet doors back together yesterday. Headbanger cabinet is complete. 

JJ is working on front door window frames. It’s all coming together nicely!

We will build it if it comes.

About to do the seats in my single, does he use the horsehair mat over the springs or what looks like foam on the drivers side and no horsehair? I was going to put a single layer of burlap on the springs then the horsehair then the seat cover… is that the correct way?

Break-in session went smoothly. Painter’s 1914cc runs great. No leaks. Engle 11o cam, big valve heads.

Hope this helps Ryan, It looks like foam around the frame then dacron bands to fill the sides as seen in the prior previous pic.

you can see my lovely wife got ahold of the camera….  😎  I got them there window frames all assembled… went smoothly.. install this morning.

Gonna rock and roll on Bob’s till he gets here!!!  I am hoping to take it on a cruise to Roosters next Thursday for Lunch!  😎  and I think Bob and his Son are going to head to Moab next Friday!  😎  Dreams to Reality….  Done at KCW on a regular basis.. 😎

window frames in… front bumper on..  need to modify that after market emblem and repaint it…. the lower stud is off and entire HOLE!!!

Got that darned after market emblem fixed and fit… Now to prep and repaint…   Last time I trust one of those to just “go on”.. 😎

Nose is looking good…  Franz is doing mechanicals go over and final… 😎  we could drive this baby today if we really wanted.. but whats the rush? 😎

John, how long did it take to assemble those door window assemblies? do you have a jig to press in the vent glass?

I try to stay away from assembly, but I’m going to have to do the ones on my own bus sometime.

Takes all day long to build and install….   On the vents.. I use two big IRWIN clamps I got from Home depot many years ago… start it by hand finish it with those clamps… Use plenty of silicone.. 😎  Those vents can be a bitch…  get your latch anchored down good..
