No. All 5/8″ and some 1/2″. Landing gear will have some 3/4″ on the main legs.

Not much to report this week. Spent most of Saturday with “honey dues”. Did manage to put in a few more braces though. I’ve got eleven more braces to fit, and the main fuselage will be ready to weld. Then I can start on the wing, and landing gear mounts. Build the control stick, seat, cable guides, and the list goes on and on. 😉

Loaded the picture twice. Sorry. Anyway frame all tacked up. I got in it. Sitting on the ground, I have about 3” to 4” between my head and the top bar. That should be alright for clearance of the control stick under my ass. ?

Ben I found a local Baja Bug, it’s a driver but typical Baja, ugly paint.. ‘69 sunroof wide eye front.. I kinda wanna get it and bring it down for some Baja action. It’s aircooled..??????????
