I’ve been looking up chevy parts..what are vw guys doing??? chevy shit is cheap compared to vw parts.

 

Anyways, chevy to semi wheel adapter plates, $800 bucks, wheels seem to be all over prices. Really want 24″ but don’t know if they will fit under the hood.

Looking at a few ls 5.3 chevy engines and trans.. $800 bucks running.

First post on the new site. I’ve been working at a vw shop for a couple of months now, while still studying. I’m learning one hell of a lot about aircooled cars. I love it. Last summer was awesome. Did a lot of meetings and drove a badass bus there almost every time. Anyway, thought this pic looked badass.

Andy, You should check your local metal recyclers! I just sold my scrap wheels, About 4500 lbs of big truck wheels. I will get more just take a while. We get them on scrap trailers and trucks, We also buy from truck shops. Some may have minor dings but could be refinished. Just a thought if you haven’t  looked already. 😉

I had them powder coated Semi Gloss black a year or so ago….  I am thinking about mounting them up for winter around here, I have 24″ wheels now… so with a 22″ I should be able to add an inch of side wall and run a bit taller tire…   I dunno…  Thought about painting the cut out L31 with my big ol polished caps….

 

They will be here… Cause you have A LOT of work to do before you are even thinking about mounting a semi wheel to it.. and a big ol stack of cash too…. 😉   Just sayin…
